The Y-Guides, Y-Princesses and Y-Papoose programs are unique opportunities for fathers to spend uninterrupted time with their children. The Y-Guide program is designed for fathers and their sons ages 5 -12.  The Princess program is designed for fathers and their daughters ages 5 -12.  The Y-Papoose programs is designed for father and their pre-schoolers ages 3 -5. The programs are designed to foster quality experiences between father and child in small group settings. Fathers, sons and daughters participate in fun and educational activities that help them grow closer together. Activities range from camping, crafts, sports, trips, games and special events.

The Y-Guides, Y-Princess, and Y-Papoose programs traditionally run September - June.  Families participate in groups called tribes. Tribes consisting of 5 - 8 families usually meet once or twice a month for a group activity. Each tribe belongs to a nation which consist of 5 - 8 tribes.  Each nation holds a Fall and Spring Long House (Weekend Camping Trip) which includes a opening/closing ceremony, a friendly competition of games, apple hour and a ceremonial fire Saturday night. Tribes are responsible for there own camping fees, Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast.

Tribes in all three programs recruit during the summer before a new program year begins in the fall.  We welcome new members into a tribe and will assist new families find a tribe.  We will also help groups interested in starting a new tribe.  Registration is open through the entire program year.
