YMCA Youth Sports programs fill kids' discretionary hours with positive activities and caring adult attention. Coaches--often volunteers, including many parents--emphasize teamwork, cooperation, and the development of skills and positive values. Youth sports programs are based on our four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

**NEW PLAYERS (that didn't play in Fall '09 or Spring '10): Each participant, in addition to the program fee, must pay $15 for a uniform. The uniform will consist of a Tuckahoe YMCA RED jersey, a Tuckahoe YMCA WHITE jersey, a black pair of shorts and a white pair of socks. Each participant must purchase a uniform in order to participate. The uniform can be recycled and used each continuous year, the program fee would be the only charge. RETURNING PLAYERS: There will be two dates TBD where uniform exchanges can be made with all parents needing new sizes (all exchanges are done amongst the parents, exchanging only used uniforms). New uniforms can be purchased as a whole ($15) or in parts as needed ($5 per jersey, $2 shorts, $1 socks).
The Tuckahoe YMCA feels that is important to be earth friendly by recycling uniforms. Each returning participant will receive a cost savings of $10 (no matter the membership level) after the first season of play.
